Nanofiltration pilot for University of Twente
Nanofiltration membranes play an important role in filtering pollutants like viruses, pharmaceutical residues, pesticides and other harmful substances from water. In doing so, nanofiltration contributes to making drinking water, process water and waste water safer all over the world. We are helping the knowledge institute of the University of Twente’s Membrane Science and Technology cluster to test these nanofiltration membranes in their own laboratory.
Hydropilot nanofiltration
Our Nanofiltration Bench Scale pilot is a small water treatment system, which can be used to test the performance of different nanofiltration membranes on a small scale. The system features several membrane modules, each one of which is equipped with its own measurement capability that can be used to monitor the performance of each membrane. Moreover, we devised a smart ‘return system’ that enables the water to be frequently sampled without affecting its quality.
- Remote control (webbrowser/Android/iOS)
- Fit-for-industry scale
- Developed in collaboration with the University of Twente: a strong combination of science and practice
- Innovative return system for safe sampling
